A few years ago my wife and I were buying furniture for a new home we were moving into. At an Ashley Furniture in Mooresville North Carolina we found a sectional that we wanted and purchased it. The sales person was nice enough and asked us if we wanted purchase the Diamond Plus Care Furniture Protection Plan that they offered. I don't remember the price because it has been a while but I feel like it was $499 and they discounted it to $350. The brochure that is on this website is what they provided to us. It is referred to as a "Protection Plan" but to me it feels like some kind of protection plan.
I remember going home and trying to look up what was included in the protection plan, the terms and how it worked, etc....
I was surprisingly disappoint that when I searched I was not able to find anything online. I mean virtually nothing, so I called the 800 number that was on the brochure and asked the person who answered if I could get any information that explains what was covered and how the program worked. I was told that there was nothing they could give me and that I would get that information when I got the furniture. I asked if there was a website or anywhere that I could go online to get informed about the protection plan program or the company. No was the response.
Based on this, I called the Ashely Furniture store that we purchased and asked how I could cancel the protection plan that we purchased. Keep in mind this was during the early days of COVID so the sectional we purchased was 3-6 months out from being delivered.
I went to the store and signed the necessary papers to cancel the protection plan and that was about the end of it. We have the couch and so far have enjoyed it.

Extremely useless there ought to be some form of punishment for people doing business like this and ripping off people who work hard to earn the money we spent for protection plan that does not exist … it’s a way to take folk money!

My Wife Joan and I purchased a leather loveseat in 2020 with this protection, after 4 1/2 years leather has started cracking, Diamond Care plus will not fix or replace saying it's not top grain leather. They're a rip off and I wouldn't never add this fraudulent service to my purchase again!

I wish I knew that claiming for any damages was going to be an uphill battle. When I got the coverage because my couch and loveseat are a lighter color, and the sales rep sold me on any type of damage. Until now that I was faced with a kid that wrote on my seats, I tried to clean it up and that damaged my seats further. When I filed for a claim it was denied. So yes I was misled and should have never got this package since it really covers 0.

Good afternoon, I bought a couch from Ashley Furniture on 11/05/2022 and bought the diamond protection plan. I am trying to submit a claim but I don't know how to set up and account. My receipt says I should have received an email after I purchased the plan but I never did. How can I get this set up?

The customer Diamond Care Plus program I purchased for $449.00 is useless. Next time I’ll make sure not to purchase anything like this and let everyone else I know to also avoid it.
